When did these get so cheap? This thing stickered for over $200k new, and can now be yours for the price of a 7-series with a short wheelbase and a six cylinder. It looks brand new, and the pre-facelift Rapide is the most beautiful contemporary four door I can think of. This particular example is low-mileage, and look at that interior-exterior color combo. Not only is it Jalop heaven, it’s classy as hell.

imo best sounding Aston you can buy right now. Plus, technically, the fastest (top speed). As long as it’s a later year model. The first couple years of Rapides were fidgety here.

It’s the third year for them, so I have no idea. You’re the tech, you tell me ;)

Don’t off-road it, don’t drive in high water. No sweet jumps :]
These should be fine if you have the cash to do all the upkeep to them properly .

That’s the nice thing here. If you’re buying a used $30,000 V10 M5 as an alternative to a new Accord, you may or may not be able to afford to maintain it. If you’re buying this Rapide as an alternative to a new S-Class (especially since this is at least six grand cheaper) I would hope you could still afford to maintain it.

So you need a hammer and beer to fix them?

There was a couple e60 M5's here in town for $19,999 at one time at 2 different used car lots. Oh the horror that poor poor owner WILL endure :’(

That is beautiful, especially the interior! I found a nice blue Aston convertible online a while back in the $30K range with fairly low mileage. I had actual difficulty not bidding on it, despite the fact that I was not planning to buy a car. It’s astonishing how affordable these things are.
